Former Musiah Student – Now Prize-Winning Virtuoso Pianist
Today, I'm proud to share something very special that happened during the recent holidays.
On Jan 3, 2025, former Musiah student, Ariel Waldmann (now age 15), won first prize in the National Piano Competition (in the age 12-15 category) in Ashdod, Israel.
Ariel originally began learning piano with Musiah at age 6 and he has been unstoppable since then.
Now a virtuoso young pianist, his stunning progress is a continual source of inspiration.
This is his prize-winning performance from Jan 3 in which he plays Toccata in D minor, Op.11 by Prokofiev.
Congratulations Ariel on your outstanding and deservedly prize-winning performance. I am incredibly proud of you. Bravo!
