I played Clarinet when I was a child, packed it up when I was 12, so I guess that helped with my music reading.
Didn't have any more to do with music till about 25 years ago when I tried to teach myself to play the organ. Didn't have much joy unfortunately and gave that up after a couple of years. I regret not continuing then, but I just didn't seem to make any progress.
I saw a bargain Organ for auction last month and put in a speculative bid. When I won the auction I thought 'Wow, what do I do now'. I didn't want to fail again so I searched for on-line lessons and read the Musiah reviews. My daughter gave me a midi keyboard and that was it, I took my first lesson and now I'm completely hooked.
I'm so glad I found this course.
I really enjoy the lessons. Can't wait to get home from work in the evenings and settle down to practice for an hour or so.
Musiah is a great teacher with infinite patience! He never tires and is always available. If I wake in the night now, rather than reading, I practice music and enjoy the interaction with the virtual band.
Finally I'm able to read the bass clef instead of being tied to chord symbols.
In short, what a great product. I have never progressed in music like this before.
As a software engineer I can appreciate how much effort must have gone into creating this system.
